WHEN WAS THE FIRST TIME YOU SAW SNOW?
When I was three years old, at the local indoor slope.

WHATS IN YOUR GEAR BAG?
I don’t need any gear bag, I change clothes before I go to the indoor slope and my skis stay there.

WHAT WAS YOUR HIGH FROM THIS PAST SEASON OF 10/11?
Winning the Dutch championship 2011 in all 3 disciplines.

AND THE LOW?
Not skiing the whole summer break because of too many tourists and lack of snow in the indoor slope.

FAVORITE SKIER OF THIS PAST SEASON?
Bobby Brown because of the insane tricks he learned, the best technical work on the kickers.

HOW WOULD SOMEONE ELSE DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
I don’t know, I don’t hear so much about that.

FILMING CREW, AND WHAT MAKES THEM YOUR CHOICE TO WORK WITH? Me and my friends film each other and make little edits of it. Because it is fun.

INFLUENCES IN SKIING:
All the skiers who can live their dream and ski every day.

WORST TREND IN SKIING?
Hip-hop in too many edits and overusing slow-motion.

WHAT WAS THE MOMENT OF THE BIGGEST BREAKTHROUGH IN YOUR SKIING PROGRESSION?
I went to Laax this year for the Dutch championship and learned better tricks on a bigger kicker than my indoor kicker.

WHATS PLAYING IN YOUR CAR AND ON YOUR HEADPHONES WHEN YOU RIDE?
Metal, Heavy Metal, Death Metal, Southern Hardcore.

WHAT DREW YOU TO BE A PART OF THE ARMADA FAMILY?
I think 4 years ago I was looking for a sponsor, and I felt good with Armada and their team was really sick and it still is.

INFLUENCES OUTSIDE OF SKIING?
Video Grass, a snowboard crew. I like their clothes, they all wear tight pants. And I really like the way of editing and choice of music.

WHAT WAS YOUR MOST INTERESTING JOB EVER?
Never had one.

BEST NON SKIING RELATED TRIP YOU’VE EVER BEEN ON AND WHY?
I went to Zeeland with my school friends. I had a great time there, chilling with my friends outside of the dutch ski and snowboard scene.

THE THING YOU DISLIKE THE MOST?
Vegetables, I just don’t want to eat any.

THE THING THAT HURTS THE MOST?
Losing your girlfriend.

DO YOU HAVE ANY RITUALS?
Doing a backflip at the first hit of the day.

LAST DREAM YOU HAD?
The last one I can remember is one of the few nightmares in my life haha. Anaconda snakes where attacking my school, it was really weird.

YOUR FIRST CAR?
If I have to pay it myself I will go for a second hand car, if it can move me from a place to another it is all good.
